I’m proud to work with people across Kentucky, including my neighbors right here in Bowling Green and the rest of Warren County, as well as Scottsville, KY, Franklin, KY, Glasgow, KY and all communities in any of the surrounding counties. My wonderful family and I have lived here for 23 years, and it’s been an incredible place to call home. Outside the office, you can usually find me at South Warren High School, supporting one of our two daughters or on the campus of Western Kentucky University, supporting the TOPS! Stop into our office and see some of my WKU sports memorabilia from my coaching days on the Hill!
Before becoming a State Farm Agent, I coached Division I Women's College Basketball for 21 years. I began my coaching career at Western Kentucky as an assistant coach under long-time WKU Head Coach Paul Sanderford in 1991-92. That season, our Lady Topper Team advanced to the National Championship game of the NCA Tournament, falling to Stanford. In my five seasons as an assistant under Coach Sanderford and Coach Small, I helped develop nine All-Sun Belt selections, a Freshman of the Year selection and coached in four NCA Tournament appearances. Our Western Kentucky Teams posted a 103-29 record in those five seasons. Our Lady Topper Teams also claimed three Sun Belt Tournament titles and two regular season championships. I then left Western Kentucky to take the Head Coaching position at Wofford in 1996.
In my six seasons at Wofford, we built up the program and developed three All-Southern Conference selections, three All-Tournament selections and the 2002 Southern Conference Player of the Year in Jenny Nett. Jenny Nett also earned Academic All-America honors as an exemplary student-athlete. While coaching at Wofford, I also worked in cooperation with Impact Ministries to help put on the Acres of Diamonds Camp for underprivileged children. Following the 2002 season at Wofford, I returned to my alma mater to serve as the Associate Head Coach.
In my nine seasons as Associate Head Coach at WKU, I coached 18 All-Sun Belt selections, three Freshman of the Year selections and helped lead the Lady Toppers to five SBC Eastern Division titles, two tournament titles and seven appearances in the postseason, including a pair of Tournament berths.
Over the course of two stints at Western Kentucky, I helped develop 27 All-Sun Belt Conference selections, four Freshman of the Year selections and three Player of the Year selections. I was blessed to be able to coach in six Big Tournaments, including two Sweet 16 appearances and an appearance in the 1992 National Championship game.
